Overview
Based in Huskinson NSW, PhycoLife was founded by the remarkable Dr Pia Winberg, (voted as one of the top 100 scientists by ABC’s the science show). Pia launched Venus Shell Systems (PhycoLife’s) parent company back in 2015 with a mission to convert CO2 and Nitrogen waste into seaweed biomass. Whilst undertaking research on the molecular structure of their unique species of seaweed, the team at PhycoLife discovered an incredible breakthrough - the world’s first plant based alternative to Hyaluronic Acid.
